- What an awesome return policy! The return policy is 60 days and hassle-free. They also provide a label for the return shipping.
- cbdMD’s prices are on the low end of average, at roughly $0.06 per milligram of CBD (average is $0.06-$0.11). Usually, with prices this low, it’s because a company is cutting corners on ingredients, quality, or lab testing. In this case, it appears that cbdMD is simply continuing to put consumers first.
- There's no info on the extraction method (how the CBD is pulled from the hemp).
Ingredients
Are the ingredients natural and free from potential side effects?

cbdMD earned a solid 4.9 stars in Ingredients.
- Lab testing results show that most products are packed with a wide range of naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes, especially full-spectrum products.
- This is a strong indicator that the products will be effective and offer real results. As a side note, I bought some of the oil drops recently for that reason.
- The ingredients are natural except for the Recover Topical and the CBD Drink Mixes.
- Many cbdMD products have additional added active ingredients, besides CBD (e.g. CBD Calming Gummies). Most of what's added are considered supplements by the FDA. The FDA cautions that supplements often have the potential for side effects, they may interact with medications or cause problems with certain medical conditions. (These concerns don't apply to topical CBD because it doesn't enter the bloodstream.)
- Unfortunately, for both the broad-spectrum and full-spectrum gummies and capsules, the lowest strength available is 50mg each. This is a pretty high dose and may not be suitable for everyone.

- The most recent testing results are available on the product pages.
- Unfortunately, consumers must have either the batch number or QR code to review past lab testing results.
- Despite cbdMD making a point of having QR codes that allow consumers to verify the lab testing results, the codes don't work! They go to the testing lab's website where there's a message stating that, while testing was performed, cbdMD has marked the results as private.

- They report lab testing results in the most transparent way possible, so you can always know what's in the CBD.
- Based on the lab testing results that I reviewed, cbdMD does a good job of keeping contaminants out of products.
- The one exception is Ethanol, a residual solvent used to extract the CBD from the hemp plant. For example, in the full-spectrum Oil Drop Tinctures, Ethanol was detected at 512 (limit of 5,000 to pass). In the Fruit Twist Gummies, it was detected at 3,037.
