Why Buying CBD Oil On Amazon Isn't Worth The Risk

Amazon can be a great place to shop for all sorts of cool stuff. However, after doing an investigation, I can tell you that it's an incredibly risky place to shop for CBD oil.  This is because almost all of what’s being sold on Amazon isn’t CBD oil! The reason for this is that Amazon’s policies specifically prohibit the sale of any CBD oil products on their platform.

Nearly all of what’s being sold is hemp seed oil cleverly disguised as CBD oil. Hemp seed oil is extracted from the seeds of the cannabis plant but it doesn’t contain any CBD, THC, or any other of the 400+ chemical compounds found in the hemp plant. What it does contain is Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart health and believed to help with inflammation. Simply put, hemp seed oil is a helpful supplement and CBD oil is powerful medicine.

It’s worth noting that some legitimate CBD oil companies are selling their authentic products on Amazon by using different packaging, etc. While this does occur (and is a whole other topic), I recommend not wasting your time trying to sort it out. If you’re interested in a particular brand, I recommend going directly to their website.

Fortunately, consumers don’t have to rely on Amazon for CBD oil. Feel free to check out my reviews to discover which companies may be the best choice for your needs. As always, if you’ve got a question or comment, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
